Competition Terms & Conditions

 

These Terms and Conditions prevail in the event of any conflict or inconsistency with any other communications, including advertising, promotional materials and voucher terms displayed at redemption and on gift card. Entry instructions are deemed to form part of the Terms and Conditions and by participating, all entrants will be deemed to have accepted and be bound by the Terms and Conditions. Entry instructions are deemed to form part of the terms and conditions and by participating in the Promotion all entrants will be deemed to have accepted and be bound by these terms and conditions.

  1. This promotion is open to residents of United Kingdom, aged 18 years or over except employees and their immediate families of the Promoter, their agents or anyone professionally connected with the promotion.

  2. Internet access, a valid email address, required for entry. Purchase necessary, retain receipt.

  3. Opens for entries at 00:00 on 01/01/2025 and closes for entries at 23:59 on 31/12/2025. Entries received outside of this time will be void and will not be entered into the promotion.

  4. To enter the promotion, you must purchase a qualifying Kabuto Noodles Cup featuring the promotional flash, scan the QR code on pack or visit www.kabutonoodles.com. Enter your details, including email address & the 9-digit code.

  Prizes: 

  1. Online Instant Win: There are 2,000 instant win prizes available to be won consisting of:

    1. Level 1: 1 of 2,000 free vouchers

    2. Level 2: a selection of merchandise from Kabuto


  1. There are 2,000 online instant win prizes and the total promotional kabuto packs out in the market is 250,000. Winners will be determined by a secure and automatic computer-generated algorithm that produces verifiably random results. Each entrant’s chance of winning is based on the promotional volume of 250,000 vs the number of prizes to be given away at the start of the promotion. The percentage chance of winning will not decrease across the promotional period. The number of prizes will be (statistically) dependent upon participation rates. Wins will be allocated independently by the system using an algorithm. Although all prizes are available to be won, there is no guarantee that they will all be claimed. 

  2. Entrants will be notified immediately on screen online if they have won an Instant Win prize and informing them which prize they have won. The prize will be posted to them.

  3. No alternatives or cash alternatives are available.

  4. The Promoter reserves the right to substitute the prize for an equivalent or greater value should the original prize offered become unavailable for reasons beyond the Promoter’s control.

 

Further Online Instant Win Voucher Prize Terms

  1. Claimants must redeem Voucher in their chosen retailer between 01/01/2025 -31/12/2025. Store redemptions are accepted in Asda, Morrisons (excluding Morrisons Daily), Sainsbury’s, Tesco and Waitrose. Vouchers cannot be redeemed in petrol stations, online or Morrisons Daily. 

General

  1. All entries must be made by the entrant themselves. Bulk entries made from trade, consumer groups or third parties will not be accepted. Incomplete or illegible entries, entries made by macros or other automated means (including systems which can be programmed to enter) and entries which do not satisfy the requirements of these terms and conditions in full will be disqualified and will not be counted. If it becomes apparent that an entrant is using a computer(s) to circumvent this condition by, for example, the use of 'script', 'brute force', multiple SIM cards for Text entries, masking identity by manipulating IP addresses, using aliases or identities other than their own or any other means, fraudulently falsifying data, acting fraudulently or dishonestly to increase that entrant's entries into the Promotion in a way that is not consistent with the spirit of the Promotion, that entrant's entries will be disqualified and any prize award will be void. Prizes allocated to winners who are subsequently disqualified may not be reallocated.

  2. Winners may be requested to participate in reasonable publicity arising from the Promotion with no further compensation. The winner is under no obligation to participate.

  3. In the event of circumstances outside the reasonable control of the Promoter, or otherwise where fraud, abuse, or reasonable belief to suspect collusion to subvert the terms of this promotion, and/or an error (human or computer) affects or could affect the proper operation of this promotion, and only where circumstances make this unavoidable, the Promoter reserves the right to cancel or amend the promotion or these terms and conditions, at any stage, but will always endeavour to minimize the effect to participants in order to avoid undue disappointment.

  4. The Promoter reserves the right to verify the eligibility of all entries to protect itself against fraudulent, invalid or repetitive entries including but not limited to asking for address and identity details (which they must provide within 14 days) and to refuse to award a prize or withdraw prize entitlement and/or refuse further participation in the promotion and disqualify the participant where there are reasonable grounds to believe there has been a breach of these terms and conditions or any instructions forming part of this promotion’s entry requirements or otherwise where a participant has gained unfair advantage in participating in the promotion or won using fraudulent means.

  5. The Promoter does not accept responsibility for entries lost, damaged or delayed or as a result of any network, computer hardware or software failure of any kind. Proof of sending will not be accepted as proof of receipt.

  6. The Promoter and its associated agencies and companies will not be liable for any loss (including, without limitation, indirect, special or consequential loss or loss of profits), expense or damage which is suffered or sustained (whether or not arising from any person’s negligence) in connection with this promotion or accepting or using the prize, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law (including personal injury, death and fraud) in which case that liability is limited to the minimum allowable by law.

  7. The Promoter will not be liable for any delay or failure to comply with its obligations for reasons beyond its reasonable control arising from but not limited to Acts of God, global or regional epidemic or pandemic, adverse weather conditions, fire, industrial dispute, war, terrorist activity, hostilities, political unrest, riots, civil commotion, plague or other natural calamities, or any other circumstances of the Promoter.

  8. If any of these clauses should be determined to be illegal, invalid or otherwise unenforceable then it shall be severed and deleted from these terms and conditions and the remaining clauses shall survive and remain in full force and effect.

  9. The Promoter’s decisions regarding all promotional matters shall be final and no other correspondence will be entered in to.

  10. The Promoter will collect and process certain personal information from entrants which, by taking part in the promotion, the entrants’ consent to. The Promoter will only use the personal data for the purposes of carrying out the promotion and, if your consent is obtained, to send you emails containing news and offers from Kabuto and for no other purpose, unless the Promoter obtains your consent. However, personal data supplied during the course of the promotion may be passed on to third party supplier only insofar as required for fulfilment/delivery/arrangement of the promotion. The personal details will at all times be kept confidential and in accordance with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR).   11. The Promoter may disclose Entrants’ personal information to its contractors and agents to assist in conducting this Promotion (including any relevant promotional activity), communicating with Entrants, and for Prize fulfillment or unless you opt in to receive marketing communications (and you can opt out at any time).   12. The Promoter does not assume any responsibility for any typographical or other error in the administration of the Promotion. Additionally, the Promoter is not liable for the reproduction of this offer or indirect access via third party websites of these Terms and Conditions and where such reproduction misstates or omits any of the information or terms and conditions connected with this Promotion.

  13. This Promotion is governed by English Law and the courts of England and Wales will have exclusive jurisdiction.
