Follow the step by step instructions to create your own crochet Kabuto noodle pot cosy and crochet chopstick case.

You will need:
3.5mm Crochet hook
20g of sport weight cotton
A tapestry needle to sew in the ends.
Stitches:
ch - Chain Stitch
dc - Double Crochet
ss - Slip Stitch These patterns are written in UK crochet terms. The Chopstick Case is designed to fit chopsticks that are 24cm long and 7mm wide when sitting side by side. The Kabuto Pot Cosy is designed to fit the 85g Kabuto Noodle pots with a circumference of 22.5cm.

Chopstick Case
To start make a magic loop.
Round 1: Work 6 double crochet stitches into the magic loop. [6]
Round 2: Work 2 double crochet stitches into each stitch of the previous row. [12]
Round 3-50: Work double crochet stitches, 12 in each round until your chopstick case is 23cm long. To finish, work slip stitches into the top of each stitch in the last round. [12]
Fasten off and sew in the ends.
Pot Cosy
To start chain 41.
Round 1: Double crochet into the first ch stitch creating a loop, make sure you don't get the loop of chain stitches twisted, double crochet in each of the chain stitches. [40]
Round 2- 17: Double crochet in each stitch in the round. [40]
To finish, work slip stitches into the top of each stitch in the last round. [40]
Now go back to the long tail left at the start and use it to work slip stitches into the other side of the chain stitches from the beginning. [40]
Fasten off and sew in the ends.
